Vasant (Spring) 2020 Poems - Sabah Carrim

Sapiosexual

By Sabah Carrim

(Adj (of a person) finding intelligence sexually attractive or arousing))

Because suddenly everyone’s feeling
excited
reaffirmed
acknowledged

Has falling in love for the wrong reasons
become oh so normal
that
we had to invent a
brand new term

just to say

we are drawn to people with brains
