Winter Line

When I turned
away from you:

That morning, I brewed
chilled cup of coffee for you.
That day, I stayed
at home keeping doors unlocked for you.
That night, I turned-off
the lights before you .

That day, I gave you another last chance.
That day, I gave myself my first last chance.

Here, I am chasing the winterline
crossing your love line,
holding mine frozen fingers,
calming the rage of my heart.
Here, I am staying at
home where the doors are locked by hope.

As I soak the warmth of winterline,
I feel like giving another last chance to myself.
