May 4th Task Force offers a fantastic Kent State May 4 CD Project

4-23-06... New media player with some handy activist tunes including a bunch from the May 4 CD Project that the May 4th Task Force put together last year. Two discs fulla stuff from artists international and local to Kent, and some that were local but went international, like Joe Walsh and Chrissy Hynde. As my link to order it has died and the folks I know in the task force seem mystified that there is a cd, this may be the best place to hear the songs. Jexo does tell me that he keeps 'em stocked at Standing Rock or at the North Water St. Gallery. If you have any mp3s that should be up here, let me know! Especially midwestern bands. Look for this list to expand.

The Displaced Musicians Benefit on Friday- March 10, 2006 at the Lime Spider was awesome! We raised a pile for The Tipitina's Musical Community Foundation! Thanks to the artists, musicians, video people etc! Jimi Imij sent me pics of Poon Twang, who were incredible, every song a magical concoction!
