A Prayer to Spring
By Nirgoom Misro

The lost cuckoo has come back,
Like the lost desired days,
Through the rain of old leaves
That make the carpet on thy street.

O, Spring, you come on rustling.
Newness is everywhere,
Air is overwhelmed with the scent of buds,
These all happen with thy blessed touch.

Drive away everything old and disgraced,
Not only in nature but also in us,
Our Society, Our Politics and everything of us.
And flourish here the blessed newness
With your kind and immense touch.
