Love to All

By Kimutai Allan

The red tulip is now ripe,
For the fellow who blows his pipe,
A smiling soul just at the corner,
Whom we’ve all declared a loner,
Every other day he quells our fears,
However filthy the garments he wears,
His is a story not often told,
As he faces life both strong and bold,
Let’s spare a piece of flower this valentine,
For those the society hatefully quarantines.

Kimutai Allan from Kenya is an emerging poet. He enjoys poetry and is working on a collection of poems.
